What is mailclad Communicator pro?

Mailclad Communicator Pro is an E-Mail Client, which was specially designed and built to be used in a mobile environment. It was designed to be used platform-independently and handles security related aspects in an innovative and new way. Mailclad Communicator Pro protects you against unauthorized access of third parties and loss or theft, as well.
Actually the operating systems Microsoft Windows XP, 2000, ME and Apple Macintosh OS X are supported.
The functionality and convenience are handled on all operating systems identically, no matter where you are: at home, in your office or in an internet-café
You can manage your data any time, everywhere, even if you cannot access to the internet (offline-mode).

All common authentication methods can be used, as for instance SSL (Secure Socket Layer), TLS (Transport Layer Security), Cram-MD5 and APOP.
All data, as addresses, attachments and E-Mails are stored encrypted on your Flash Drive. Therefore there are protected against unauthorized access by third parties. Even in case of loss of your CodeMeter Smartcard Stick your data is safe.

All informations which will be transmitted using the internet should be encrypted, especially in the case that you are dealing with confidential informations via E-Mails. mailclad Communicator Pro has a strong build in public key encryption, which is based on a special USB Stick named “CodeMeter”. This hardware token finally encrypts and decrypts your messages with its internal Smartcard. Smartcards are also used in Banking (ATM Cards etc.).
Using mailclad Communicator Pro means all your E-Mail, Address & Attachment-data is always automatically protected in the best possible way; just use it and be safe.

E.G.G. mails are password-protected and can be opened by entering the password you assigned. This works in any environment (i.e. Outlook, Thunderbird and even Web-Mailers). E-Mail - Attachments will be encrypted, aswell.
You want to know, if the recipient really reads your E-Mail? Just use the world’s first unforgeable registered E-Mail feature of the Pro Version. Using this function the recipient cannot read your e-mail before he confirms the receipt of your E-Mail. You will always get a receipt, either the user refuses or confirms your E-Mail.

How does it work?

Mailclad Communicator Pro uses state of the art encryption standards. The E-Mail encryption uses AES (128 Bit) and ECC (228 Bit). Both techniques are build in the SmartCard of the CodeMeter. This means that your data can not be decrypted by third parties. The decryption will be only realized by your personal CodeMeter Stick on demand.
If an E-Mail recipient doesn´t use mailclad Communicator Pro just send encrypted Mails by using E.G.G. encryption. These E-Mails will be protected using Blowfish encryption (128 Bit) + password. The recipient is not required to install any additional software tp read E.G.G. Mails.
To protect your local E-Mail data you can assign a password for Login. This password can be modified or stored.
