What is mailclad MP80 Server?

Mailclad MP80 Server was developed to increase your mobility and E-Mail Security at the same time. It is a tunnel server. For the public it appears as a http-web-server using port 80.
MP80 runs on all common operating systems like Windows Server 200,2003, Me, XP Home, XP Professional, Macintosh Mac OS X, Mac OS X Server and Linux.

Why do I need MP80?

You are running an own E-Mail Server and you have travelling employees dealing with confidential information via E-Mail? In this case you can set up MP80 Server as a secure interface server for all common POP, IMAP and SMTP Server systems.
As Web-Access services for E-Mails is a high risk you can now use E-Mail from anywhere in the world (Hotel Business Lounge, Internet cafes etc.) without leaving any traces, which may be used by third parties to get unauthorized access to your E-Mails. Especially this risk is very high if you are dealing with E-Mails in foreign countries.
You even can send and receive encrypted E-Mail if you are behind any firewall where all common E-Mail Ports are closed.
Soon you will be able to use Lockzone´s MP80 Server if you are a member of MP80 Club. Then you can use mailclad Communicator at your office or anywhere where you want, even if you are working behind a firewall. Your System-administrator will not be able to log your E-Mail traffic.

How does is work?

MP80, as mailclad Communicator Pro is based on a hardware encryption technology; a so called SmartCard. This SmartCard is integrated in a USB Stick. MP80 uses state of the art Public Key hardware encryption based on the USB Token (AES, 128 Bit) and ECC (228 Bit).
The usage of this encryption technology avoids unauthorized access to your E-Mails by third parties of any kind.
